Chess Board Setup

chess board setupChess board setup was very easy for me to understand when I started learning to play chess. The game itself is easy to understand the moves of each piece, but it’s the strategy that I always found difficult ot grasp. With the chess board setup, my brother and I would take turns starting out. We’d each think the other was cheating somehow even though our moves were legit. I still have the chessboard I received as a gift from my childhood. It had butterfly wings as part of the “white” squares.
