I was a geek kid and loved getting my first microscope — the one with glass slides to show samples of bugs and such. You don’t find glass slides any more, that’s for sure. But what I like most about science experiments for kids is that it can help spark a child’s interest and possibly catapult them into a career. Learning about life around us and how they can interact with it, even improve it is surely a something most parents would want for their children.
